The designer of the Drip Candle Holder, Pascal Smelik, is fascinated by the concept of deformity and takes on the challenge of experimenting with so-called mistakes. As a testament to that, Smelik used liquid wax in cold water to first create a wax model. Together with Pols Potten Ptudio he developed a method to produce the intriguing ‘Drip’ series.
